Terms of Service — Templified

Welcome to Templified. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Templified platform, website, and services (collectively, the "Service") provided by Glossy Finish, LLC ("Company," "we," "us," or "our").

By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and capable of forming a binding contract to use the Service. By using the Service, you represent that you meet these requirements.

2. Accounts

To access certain features, you must create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use.

3. Use of the Service

You may use the Service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree not to:

Use the Service to generate content that is illegal, harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, defamatory, or otherwise objectionable.
Upload or transmit viruses, malware, or any code of a destructive nature.
Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service, other accounts, or computer systems.
Use the Service to infringe upon the intellectual property rights of others.
Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Service.
Use automated means (other than our provided API) to access or interact with the Service.

4. Your Content

You retain ownership of all templates, images, data, and other content you create or upload through the Service ("Your Content"). By using the Service, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to host, process, and render Your Content solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you.

You represent that you have all rights necessary to upload and use Your Content and that it does not violate any third party's rights.

5. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its design, features, code, and documentation, is owned by Glossy Finish, LLC and protected by intellectual property laws. "Templified," the Templified logo, and "Powered by GFcrew" are trademarks of Glossy Finish, LLC. You may not use our trademarks without prior written consent.

6. API Usage

If you access the Service through our API, you agree to comply with any rate limits, usage guidelines, and documentation we provide. We reserve the right to throttle or suspend API access for abuse or excessive usage.

7. Payment and Billing

The Service operates on a pay-as-you-go (PAYG) prepaid balance model. You add funds to your account balance, and we deduct usage as you render images, process backgrounds, or use other metered features. Current per-unit rates are displayed in your account dashboard and may be updated with reasonable advance notice.

7.1 Auto-Refill (Merchant-Initiated Transactions)

You may optionally enable auto-refill, which authorizes us to charge your saved payment method for a fixed amount whenever your account balance falls below a threshold you choose. By enabling auto-refill, you consent to recurring merchant-initiated charges in accordance with the rules of your card network. We will:

Display the trigger threshold and refill amount before you enable auto-refill, and again whenever you change them;
Email you a receipt for every successful auto-refill charge;
Allow you to disable auto-refill at any time from your billing dashboard, with no further charges issued after disablement;
Cap the number of auto-refill charges per 24-hour period to limit unintended overspend.

If an auto-refill charge fails, we will retry once within 24 hours and notify you by email; if the retry also fails, your account may be suspended until you update your payment method or top up manually.

7.2 Refund Policy

Unused balance: Funds you have added to your balance but have not yet consumed are refundable, for any reason, within 90 days of the original top-up. Refunds are issued to the original payment method. To request a refund, contact contact@templified.io from the email address associated with your account.

Consumed balance: Once funds have been deducted for a completed render, background-removal job, or other metered service, those amounts are non-refundable, as the service has been performed.

Disputed auto-refills: If you dispute an auto-refill charge that occurred within the last 30 days and the refilled funds remain unconsumed, we will refund the unconsumed portion without requiring further documentation.

Account closure: Upon closure of your account, any unused balance will be refunded to the original payment method without requiring a separate request. Refunds may take 5–10 business days to appear on your statement.

7.3 EU/UK Right of Withdrawal

If you are a consumer located in the European Union or the United Kingdom, you have the right to withdraw from a top-up purchase within 14 days. This right does not apply to the portion of your balance that has already been consumed by services you have used. The unconsumed portion will be refunded in full upon request.

7.4 Pricing Changes

We may change per-unit rates with at least 14 days' advance notice via email and an in-product banner. Existing balance you have already paid for is not affected by rate changes — only future deductions reflect the new rate.

7.5 Taxes

Prices shown do not include applicable sales tax, VAT, or similar taxes, which will be added at checkout where required by law.

8. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without cause, and with or without notice. You may stop using the Service at any time. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. We may delete your data after a reasonable retention period following termination.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR SECURE.

10. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, GLOSSY FINISH, LLC SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNTS YOU PAID TO US IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Glossy Finish, LLC, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of your use of the Service or violation of these Terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved in the courts located in Delaware.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated Terms on this page with a new effective date. Your continued use of the Service after such changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
